Thai Turkey Meatballs

Meatballs are such an easy way to use ground meat. You can put them in a variety of sauces and pair them with any carb or veggie and you’re good to go! I love Thai flavors and knew I had to make a Thai meatball recipe. These did not disappoint! Whip these up in 30 mins and have a delicious dinner that everyone will love!

Ingredients Needed

Ground Turkey: These can be made with ground chicken as well! I use ground turkey breast.

Green onions: These are the underrated star of the show. They go in the sauce and the meatballs.

Ginger: Fresh ginger makes all the difference. I’d strongly recommend using freshly grated ginger!

Almond flour: This helps act as a filler in the meatballs to make them lighter.

Egg: Eggs act as a binder for the meatballs!

Soy sauce: You’ll use this as the base of your sauce!

Rice vinegar: Adding this gives the sauce a little tanginess.

Garlic: It can be either grated or minced.

Honey: A form of sugar takes the edge off the soy and vinegar.

Samal oblek: I pictured this sauce with a little bit of heat but you can easily cut back on this if desired.

Corn starch: Adding corn starch to water and then to your sauce, helps to thicken it.
